FBI PIV and FBI Mobile ID FAP20 Certificates
BioMini Slim 2 is certified by the FBI PIV and FBI Mobile FAP20. It uses WSQ image compression. Its surface dimensions are 16.5 mm x 21 mm, exceeding the standard size of 15.2 mm x 20.3 mm.
Advanced Live Finger Detection (LFD) Technology
Suprema BioMini Slim 2 incorporates a fake fingerprint detection function (Live Finger Detection – LFD). Thanks to Live Finger Detection technology, the reader can distinguish between fake fingerprints and fingerprints made with different materials such as clay, rubber, silicone, glue, paper, and film, among others.
