BioEntry W2 incorporates the technical and security improvements of the latest Suprema fingerprint algorithm, enhanced by a powerful quad-core processor and LFD (Life Finger Detetion) technology.

The biometric terminal provides great flexibility with a multi-card format and Dual frequency RFID technology, for high and low frequency RFID cards.

BioEntryW2 incorporates a powerful 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor leading in its class offering the highest speed of fingerprint comparison and thus adapting to the different database sizes of any company.

IP67 protection and IK09 anti-vandalism structure

The BioEntry W2 access control terminal supports both low frequency (125KHz) and high frequency (13.56MHz).

Additionally, Suprema BioEntryW2 supports most RFID card standards such as MIFARE, HID iCLASS, DESFire, FeliCa, HID Prox, EM and NFC.

Live Finger Detection Technology

The BioEntry W2 access control terminal incorporates Suprema's Live Finger Detection technology.

The new Suprema technology incorporates a false finger detection engine using dual infrared and white light. Thus the motor blocks false fingers made of materials such as clay, rubber, silicone, glue, paper, film, etc.

Power over Ethernet (PoE)

BioEntry W2 includes seamless power over an Ethernet cable (CAT5 / 6). Suprema devices that include PoE are compliant with the IEEE802.3af standard, so users have lower cost of installation and maintenance and easier wiring.

Versatile interface

Suprema BioEntry W2 is not only provided with a TCP / IP interface but also includes more traditional interfaces such as RS-485 or Wiegand. This provides a terminal with greater flexibility and various installation options for different environments.
