Glass break detector which will alert the alarm in case a window, showcase or other type of glass is broken. Installed nearby and oriented towards the glass that you want to monitor, in case of breakage the detector will pick up the frequency produced by the breaking glass and alert the alarm panel.

It is especially important when protecting stores or houses with large windows, since this detector most likely will be the first to trigger the alarm in case of an intrusion that consists of breaking glass.. Very useful to detect vandalism as well.

It works with a two-way detection system. It is doing an analysis of the audio frequency to detect the characteristic sound generated when a glass breaks. And at the same time doing a low frequency analysis to detect when pressure is exerted on glass in protected areas. Due to this dual analysis it is virtually a glass break detector free from false alarms.
