USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 doubled the bandwidth compared with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (previously USB 3.1 Gen 2). From now you can transfer data at up to 20 Gbps.

But the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C cables can do even more, besides bidirectional data transmission you can also charging your notebook, tablet or smartphone at the same time, up to 60 watts.

Of course you also have the DP-Alternate Mode available, there you can transmit through your USB-C interface digital audio and video signals, resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 / 60Hz (4K, UHD) are possible.

Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C cable, you now only need one cable to connect Notebook / Ultrabook to your monitor, at the same time you can use the monitor and charge your device.

Info: not all devices with USB-C interface support the 60 watts fast charging capability (PowerDelivery), the transmission of video signals (DP-Alternate Mode) or data transfer of 20 Gbps (SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps).
