The 42U rack is used to introduce passive or active equipment inside, allowing it to be visible and protected under a secure (steel) and locked structure. Compatible with fiber optic, data cable, or coaxial cable installations, it allows the different technologies to be grouped in the same cabinet. It is ideal for installation of headends such as GPON, where the infrastructure requires greater depth.
