The video intercom panel is the element placed outside the facility, which is why it is also called an outdoor unit, and allows visitors to make calls to building staff.

These devices also have the ability to open the door using their relay outputs. This model has 4 relay outputs to manage up to 4 doors simultaneously, with a 12 VDC output (allowing direct power to the electronic lock without the need for an additional voltage source as the device is powered by standard PoE). It also has integrated access control, allowing identification via cards or key fobs with 125 kHz EM RFID and 13.56 MHz MF technology, NFC, Bluetooth, QR code reading, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and biometrics with facial recognition. It also has temporary PIN and QR codes to grant limited access through the SmartPlus mobile app.

IP devices communicate and are powered using Ethernet cables and PoE switches, reducing the amount of cables required for operation.

Its 13" touchscreen allows you to display the directory of users you want to call, as well as enter PIN codes for access.

Its IP65 outdoor rating allows it to be installed outdoors. Its IK08 vandal-resistant rating also allows it to withstand harsher environments.

Configurable advanced functions: Wiegand connection (allows adding third-party access readers for user identification), two-way video (allows making a video call showing the users who answer it), ONVIF protocol (allows integrating the camera into CCTV video recorders) and standard SIP 2.0 protocol (allows integrating the equipment into third-party PBX telephone switchboards).

From the Akuvox Installer Cloud, the installation structure is created and devices are added using their MAC addresses. This cloud-based platform allows you to update device firmware, modify local settings (such as network parameters, volume adjustments, relay parameters, among others), and monitor their connection status remotely. Furthermore, this system allows devices to communicate with each other from anywhere, without the need to open ports or use a VPN, thanks to Multisite technology.

The Property Manager Cloud allows you to manage community and office projects created by installers, register user credentials (key fobs or PIN codes), view access logs, and send messages to users.

With the SmartPlus mobile app, end users can receive calls, open the door, or view the doorbell camera live, all from anywhere. Users can review a complete call and access log, including screenshots, or set different access methods (PIN codes, NFC and/or Bluetooth access, or facial recognition). They can also create temporary access codes, called temporary keys, to generate time-limited access and share it with those who need it.
