Designed mainly for use in ICT networks, its purpose is to house the elements that separate the distribution network from the dispersion network, acting as a point of union between both networks. Its usual point of installation is located on the party walls of each floor, although it can be used as a passage register in any type of installation. Usually, it houses the different technologies associated with telecommunications (from equipment to cabling), being a point of measurement and testing of the network.
