The PROMAX IC-081C cable tester is designed to prevent and solve problems in both active and passive fiber optic, copper and industrial Ethernet (PROFINET) networks. The wide range of tests included in the verifier allows you to fully characterize the network under test, even if it is a working network.

With auto configuration mode for Ethernet and optical networks, the IC-081C detects the characteristics of the port under test. Thus, the instrument configures itself and executes the appropriate tests, for example, for open cables, network equipment in operation or cables with network traffic without interrupting the service. Likewise, the user has available quick access to manual test modes. Thanks to the customizable tests it is possible to obtain port information (MAC address, identification...) and guarantee that its configuration will allow it to achieve objectives in terms of connectivity on the local network and provide Internet service on a standard Ethernet network.

The IC-081C cable verifier includes an Autotest mode that speeds up the measurement process: The user just needs to connect the instrument sequentially to each of the ports to be tested. Test results are automatically stored without requiring user intervention. Test results can be analyzed and shared after the job is done. The equipment can export the data to a USB memory or transfer them to the mobile phone by Wi-Fi.

The IC-081C cable tester supports Industrial Ethernet (PROFINET) networks. These tests can obtain information about nodes (devices) using SNMP and DCP protocols without interrupting network traffic.
