Fermax 3245 BUS2/MDS DECODER

MDS-BUS2 system: Installations with MDS system in general entrances and interior blocks with intercom/video intercom and/or BUS2 single-family homes.

One MDS/BUS2 decoder is required per block. The MDS/BUS2 decoder converts the MDS system of the general entrance to the BUS2 system of the interior blocks.

The MDS/BUS2 decoder can manage from 1 to 199 homes per block. From the MDS general entrance, communication can be established with any dwelling in the different blocks.

BUS2

Audio/Video: 2-wire bus without polarity. CAT2 twisted pair cable is recommended for maximum distances and housing capacity.

Maximum distance from the first access to the last home: 250 m.

Small in size, they can be installed in electrical registers. They can be embedded in standard 10x10 cm boxes. They have adhesive strips for fixing, or they can be screwed directly to the wall.

The MDS/BUS-2 decoder converts the MDS system of the general entrance to the BUS-2 system of the interior blocks.

The MDS/BUS-2 decoder can manage from 1 to 199 homes per block. From the MDS general entrance, communication can be established with any dwelling in the different blocks.

The MDS/BUS-2 Decoder, as well as the interface between the two systems, acts as a changer, which at rest (without communication with a general entrance or MDS guard unit) allows communication to be established between the BUS-2 interior panels and the dwellings of the corresponding block. In this way it is possible to hold simultaneous conversations in different blocks, each one with its internal panel, as well as a block with the general entrance.

The installation of the decoder should preferably be carried out where the power supply of the interior block is installed, next to the "BUS2 Changer" if there is one. It is very important to use a power supply for each interior block to avoid interference with the signals generated in a block (calls, call confirmation tones, etc).
